"eight inches"

Material: Reclaimed Long Leaf Yellow Pine, Brass

This is a set of measurement made of reclaimed wood that was once a beam of an old church. It is a group of wood blocks from one inch to five inches which add up together to form one foot.
Without any mark on it, the wood block itself represents dimensions, which connects the material world and the abstract (conceptual) one. When other daily objects are put together with these measures, they start to reveal information in scale; when we combine the measures with our body, we notice dimensions of our body as well
